The methodology

How we vet

Every Treba hire passes through four structured stages before joining a client team. The process takes approximately 14 days from brief to placement. Stages are run by a dedicated Treba recruiter and our Nairobi operations lead, with external reference verification on every finalist.

1. CV Review

What happens

Applications screened against role requirements, claimed skills, certifications, education, and English proficiency. LinkedIn profile verified. Initial credential check.

Your first 21 days with Treba

Every Treba engagement follows the same operational sequence. Days 1–14 cover hiring; days 15–21 cover onboarding through The Nest. By day 21, your specialist is working on client deliverables.

What is The Nest?

The Nest is Treba's two-week onboarding programme. Every Treba specialist completes it before joining a client team. It is delivered in our Nairobi operations centre and covers four learning modules.

Week 101

UK Business Context

UK workplace norms, communication protocols, client-side organisational structures, escalation paths, UK holidays and working patterns.

Week 102

Client Tools & Systems

Slack / Teams workspace integration, ticketing systems, project management tools, client-specific software provisioned and tested.

Week 203

Compliance Protocols

UK GDPR handling, Kenya DPA 2019, data classification, incident response, client-specific compliance requirements.

Week 204

Pod Integration

Client meetings observed, buddy pairing with existing Treba staff, shadowed work on low-risk deliverables.

Every Treba engagement starts as a 30-day pilot. The pilot is our way of proving the fit before either side commits long-term.
